Pink spot on photos?

I have the same problem with my Nexus 5. I can confirm that the natural light conditions are key to producing the effect.

It's extremely strange that the problem ranges over different manufacturers. At first I thought I just had a defective Nexus 5 unit. Now I wonder which underlying mechanism is causing this problem in all these devices. Very disappointing either way; makes it really hard to get accurate colors in photos.

Have same issue except my spot is gray around outer edge to darker gray in the center

I have the same issue on my Samsung S3 when I take pictures in my house and also I have that issue on my ipad 2 only when I am using a program called Repzio and I am only using one of the 2 programs with in that software, the pink spot comes up in the bottom left corner when i have the keyboard up. I went to Verizon and they said maybe I have the devices next to a heat source, I said I do not, they are clueless as well. Any ideas?
