I just bit the bullet and ordered the regular Pixel via google financing. I noticed that if you purchase a pixel now, you get until Jan 22 to return the Pixel with a full refund. So almost 30 days to try it and decide to keep it or not. Was this always the case or is this a special cyber monday perk? Thanks

Most retailers have that generous return period during holidays. (Amazon, Apple and many others)

Unrelated to retailers' policies, Verizon business accounts always have a 30-day return policy, all year. Just thought I throw that out there for those with business accounts.

I just have a reg account with a gm discount..... Just trying to see if in get the pixel xl 32 if I could trade back in for the 128 when it comes in
With out a restock fee

Updated: Google Store policy now says Jan 22 for extended holiday returns (before it said Jan 9).

The Google Store return policy says the return date is Jan 9 for holiday returns. I would double check with Google Store to confirm what the actual return by date is (Jan 9 v Jan 22). From the site:
Extended holiday returns
If you buy devices or accessories from the Google Store between November 25 and December 25, 2016, you can return them through January 9, 2017.

I ordered a Pixel on 11/28 and I'm almost certain it said all purchases 11/28-11/30 have until 1/22 to return for a full refund.

Just to confirm Verizon's return policy:

"All purchases made between November 24 and December 31, 2016 may be returned or exchanged through January 14, 2017. A restocking fee of $35 applies to any return or exchange of a wireless device (excluding Hawaii)."

Of course, that assumes my Pixel XL 128GB actually ships before Jan 14th. If not, I would suppose the normal 14 day policy will apply. As it is, I have over a month to play with the Pixel I bought for my wife, before I swap phones with her. ;)

I bought one directly from Google

You are right! Now the return policy says Jan 22. It originally said Jan 9 when I last posted. I will update my post now. That is a fantastic window of return!
