PIXEL 2/2 XL users - Pixel 2 Launcher vs. Nova Prime?

The only reasons I use Nova launcher is for the quick gestures to open pre-assigned apps, and to get rod of the google pill/bar. Based on that, I'd like to hear your thoughts on whether I may prefer some of the features of the new Pixel 2 launcher that may sell it for me over Nova Prime.

Obviously I'll try it out when I get my phone but was wondering you're thoughts an what tricks I might find.

Well it seems to be able to turn the quick settings black with black background. But then you can change to Nova after that's done.

If you really like quick gestures, you're gonna want to stick with Nova. The P2 launcher is nowhere near as flexible as Nova. The wallpapers are nice, though.
