Pixel 2 - double tap to screen lock NOVA delay

When I double tap to lock on my pixel 2 it doesn't lock the screen. It goes black for about a minute then locks. Its kinda annoying. On my old s7 it would lock right away with double tap on nova prime btw.

Anyone know where this permission or advanced interaction is? Where can I set it straight?

Settings gestures and inputs use it all the time great feature double tap to lock
I miss read your post your having delay issues,not sure there mine locks simultaneously

i fugured it out. if you have the 5 second delay you CAN USE THE FINGER PRINT sensor to unlock it.

if you pick instant LOCK. you need pin. So i'll keep the delay.

Didn't realize there was delay until you posted double tap to lock then I need to wait 5sec for fingerprint sensor to work
