For me, I've shovel sized hands and I've been a huge fan of phablets since the original Galaxy Note

I cannot cope with small handsets; I have fat-finger syndrome at the best of times!

I loved the Nexus 6 too; one of the best handsets I've ever had personally

Why?

Closest display size I can get to the PH-1. Bigger screen is better for aging eyes and tons of daily emails/texts/calendar events. Bigger battery helps as well. I'd prefer a smaller chassis but will make an exception in this case. Plus, after the PH-1, the standard Pixel 2 bezels would eventually bother me.

Nice. Did you finance or buy outright? I bought outright. Now I'm considering changing to 128 in case I keep it a couple years. Update: Nevermind, I'm sticking with 64. I'll put the $100 elsewhere.

Damn was little late and white one is already 5-6 weeks so went with black 128 GB XL for Oct 18-19 delivery.

Pixel 2. I didn't hesitate. The XL is bigger than the LG V30 and I'm never really happy with big phones. Google went to great pains to say that the two models were the same, apart from the display and size, obviously. I like a phone I can slip into my pocket and I'm not aware of it. I just had a play with my Nexus 5 and I'd be happy with that, were it updated. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 and I'm well over the bezel-less design. It doesn't do a lot for me quite honestly.
