Pixel 2 XL sent in for repair

Hi there guys! Singapore Pixel 2 XL user here. Had to send mine in for repair this morning.

I had issues when charging the phone where it will continuously reboot. The service centre said that the charging port seems faulty.

I also had the top speaker distortion issue which they will repair too.

All in all, 3 to 5 working days down without my beloved Pixel 2 XL. Can't wait to get it back! Also, they confirmed the IP67 rating will still be intact unlike some phone manufacturers that won't honor that after a repair.

Reporting back!

Got my Pixel 2 XL back this morning. The distortion on the top speaker is fixed. The parts that was replaced is the back cover.

Charging well and fast again. I'm happy!
