Really nice! I'm thinking of going to Montreal in October for the first time. How did you enjoy it? Is there lots to do?

Montréal is beautiful! I highly recommend visiting Old Montréal - beautiful scenery and architecture. I was born in Québec and grew up there - so perhaps I'm biased but it truly is a gorgeous province. Also, you need to try Québécois poutine - it's a wonderful thing.

Loved Montreal! We were happened to be there on Canada Day, so the Old Port was bustling with visitors and activities (the Ferris Wheel was one of them). We also visited the Notre Dame basilica (beautiful architecture, esp. the interior), and Mont Royal. October may be a bit chilly for a hike on Mont Royal, but I imagine the foliage will be gorgeous! And you can check out the Montreal skyline!
If it's too cold, you can walk around in the Underground City, or RÉSO. It's basically an extensive network of foot path underground that features shops and restaurants. It also connects different subway stops and places of interest.

Some Friday night baseball catching the Braves walk it off!
