Pixel 3/3 XL-Share your photo(s) here!

Here's from today's bike ride. I thought to myself "everyone's a bank robber now!"

This is the other face of Discovery Park (formerly Fort Lawton). Rainier in the background over the marina.

Gorgeous scenery! Thank you for posting!

Either that, or we're all extras in The Road Warrior.:p

Nice pics, as usual!

Thanks. I biked it yesterday and walked it this morning. Biking from the house is about a 17 mile loop. Driving over, the walk is about a three mile loop, four miles if I head down to the lighthouse.

Gorgeous scenery! Thank you for posting!

It is a nice place to live. In the "Golf Ball" (that's what some people affectionately call it) photo you can see the former officers' housing. There are a lot of older buildings in the park and off to the right just out of this view is the little chapel. About three years ago, a number of smaller quarters were converted into private housing and sold. It was when the federal government decided not to convey those lands/houses to the city to expand the park But there are covenants and historic rules on exterior looks.

Next today's walk.

The park is on a high bluff above Puget Sound. "City fathers" conveyed it to the feds for an army base last century (Fort Lawton). Sometime in about 1970 they conveyed it back for a park - the largest in Seattle, I believe. During WWII prisoners of war were kept there. An infamous lynching of an Italian prisoner occurred there.

Thanks! She's the perfect subject to demonstrate why this camera is THE BEST...for me in my situation.

Here's a perfect example. Same shot, same everything, two different results. I love how the 3XL didn't blur the phone she's holding. It's little things like that that just impress me so much. Point. Shoot. Content.

Aaaaaaand, we're back up sideways shots.
I know what you mean. Been finding myself picking up my Pixel 3 more often lately because I miss the camera. Yeah it may not be the most feature-rich camera lacking pro mode and multiple lenses, but for what I use it for it suites my needs just fine.
Most my shots are indoors of my dogs and Pixel 3 rarely let's me down compared to my Note 10+. Same shot side-by-side and I am always more impressed with the Pixel. No clue what the hell Samsung is doing, but their camera cannot handle fur AT ALL! And heaven forbid there's movement of any kind, even slight movement, it's either a blurry mess or the camera focuses on the backgrounds instead of the intended subjects.

Example of quick shots I took playing with my dogs a little while ago; both taken in auto and just point and shoot:

Nice. It's little details like motion blur that, for me, are the pinnacle of what I'm personally looking for in a camera. I want someone to think, "how in the world did they get that dog/baby/child/fidgety human to stay still long enough to take that shot?!".
