Pixel 3 / 3 XL - Shipping Discussion

Ordered 64gb black P3 at 3AM Eastern on November 22nd (Thanksgiving), phone arrived at the office this morning at 11:30 AM! Going to a concert tonight so I won't be able to set it up to use until tomorrow night though. It looks like the wireless charging pad I got at the same time from Best Buy via Google Express is due to come in today as well!

@popartist - I ordered the same phone at just about the same time - got mine at 2:15 PM today. All is good in Pixel Land.

Ordered my 3XL white 64gb on Friday morning at 1am, the shipping got updated as a change in delivery date 3 times! Fortunately in the right direction lol It originally was supposed to be delivered Friday, but I got it this morning at around 10am.

Ordered a Not-Pink P3 64GB late Sunday night, but seems like there is some delay.

Normally I ordered a device from Google on a weekend and it would ship that following Monday, weird.

I ordered on Black Friday. Got a shipping notice on Sunday with a tracking number. Later that day the tracking was at "label created" and has been there since. It's FedEx Ground. Expected delivery date per Google is by tomorrow. I'm thinking it's not going to make it. LOL. Is anyone else seeing the tracking sit at "label created" for days?

Just got the tracking number and it too is in Label Created status.

What's funny is that it says expected delivery is today, yeah, not gonna happen since I'm in Puerto Rico.

Just a heads-up. My Pixel 3XL shipped via FedEx Ground with Direct Signature Required. Naturally the driver comes during the day when I am not home. Work has been hectic so I haven't been able to take a day to wait for it. Today was Delivery Attempt number 3 so now it goes back to another place before being shipped back to Google. I spent an hour on the phone (between holds) with Google Support and their shipping and refunds department to no avail. They put in a ticket to see if they could amend the delivery instructions to "Hold at a FedEx location" but doesn't appear to be the case. The rep I spoke to said the new delivery instructions were enacted because of people claiming they never received a phone when they actually did or because FedEx drivers were signing for delivered phones and keeping them. Take that as you may but it was what I was told. By a dude named George. So if you can't take a day and wait for it, be prepared for a headache.

You should be able to contact carrier directly and pick up package from shipping warehouse. I've done this many times, and will probably have to with Pixel also because I'll be out of town.

FedEx Express has a pick up window but the FedEx Ground facility does not and doesn't allow for pickups. I stopped by last night and was informed by security.

Ordered mine on Nov 23. ETA on Delivery was Nov 27-28. Shows Dispatched on Nov 24th.

Check the tracking number online and UPS site says "UPS could not locate the shipment details for this tracking number. Details are only available for shipments made within the last 120 days. Please verify your information."

Yesterday I contacted Google, the rep at the other end says "That's weird...I've never seen that before!". He creates a replacement order. I ask to get it expedited, I'm told it will be. I still can't track the current order. Nothing came in today. What a gong show!

And now I just checked the tracking on the original tracking number and it shows in transit. The other tracking number doesn't show up.

Sadly their shipping seems like a total S#$% Show and definitely not on time.

I also have two phones that have label created. Was supposed to be here 11-28. Ordered on Black Friday. I feel like it's on back order as what I ordered is out of stock now.

I got lucky. My neighbor saw FedEx stop at my house and ran over and pretended to be me. The driver came back after trying a delivery earlier in the day. Now it sits in the dock here with me at work playing some Clutch. The speakers are much improved!

Just letting it download my apps and backing up items, then a reboot to finish the Android 9 update then bam....GTG!

Should also note that I bought Google fi version. Originally it said it wasn't going to ship for couple weeks, but I got shipment notification after couple days.
