Pixel 3 issues

I absolutely have to get this phone to charge and power on. It's the only way I will be able to authenticate my Google account. Long story short, I was robbed in Colombia and do not have access to any other way to authenticate and Google is absolutely zero help.
I'm getting a black screen with a what appears to be charge symbol when I plug it in.
Does this mean it's charging?
If not, will it still charge wirelessly?
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated THANKS!

How long you left it charging? You tried different cables and chargers ?

Welcome to Android Central! Leave it plugged into a wall outlet undisturbed for at least 6 hours, then press and hold Power for about 30 seconds to see if anything happens.

On your computer browser, go to myaccount.google.com, then go to the Security section, then 2-Step Verification. You don't have any other backup methods activated there, like Voice/Text Message or Backup Codes?
