Pixel 3A upgrade options in th UK

[Android Central Question]

As a Pixel 3A user in the UK I was thinking the Pixel 5A would be the best time to replace my phone. It's now looking unlikely to release in the UK. What are people's suggestions? Hold out for a Pixel 6A or go elsewhere?

Welcome to Android Central! How about the 4a or 4a 5G? Still getting updates through 11/2023.

Thanks for the welcome. No real problems with the 3A apart from a minor screen hairline crack in the top corner. Obviously no guaranteed new updates after May 22. I'd normally upgrade in a 2 year basis and would have gone for the latest Pixel A series. The 4A or 4A 5G doesn't seem worth it to me gains me a year on the updates and the hardware isn't much of a jump. Do we think the 6A might launch earlier this next time and return to a mid season release approach? That might tempt me to hold out for the 6A as it could be around May 22.
