Pixel 4 Pricing Leak. OMG Priccccccyyyyyy

And what do you really get for those prices.

New hardware.
Killer software.

Sorry

But pixel has been in the back of the pack.
Charging premium prices
Short on memory.
Short on Storage.

I can't be see where they are offering enough for the money.

Buy one and tell us how bad it hurts.

I'm guessing you won't be buying a Pixel 4.

For 1000

Ask yourself.

What is the new phone gonna do for me.
Give me a status symbol..

It dang sure won't be making me any money.

And you may ask yourself
Why did I buy this phone
And you may ask yourself
Where is that large storage
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful house
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful phone
And you may ask yourself
How did I get here

No way I'd pay that much for a regular 855 and only 6 GB of RAM. If it were 8 GB of RAM and an 855+ I might be more tempted to fork out the money

The OnePlus 7t was just announced with these specs:

855+
8GB RAM
128GB UFS 3.0 Storage
90Hz 6.55" screen
30W fast charging
Triple camera setup
$600

I know the "name brand" phones aren't directly comparable to Chinese phones, but still, Google can do a whole lot better in the value department than what they're doing.

No wireless charging.

Not available in the U.S.

It’s a shame...the rest of the world greatly enjoys Chinese phones. Plus a lack of wireless charging isn’t necessarily a dealbreaker...I’ll happily accept the better performance, no wireless charging and ‘slower’ screen if it means saving $500.

It's launching with T-Mobile next month. Ironically, one article I read said that $600 is not that great of a price because for just $70 more, you can get the 7 Pro (which is also available in the US). OnePlus is just in another dimension when it comes to value.

T mobile might bearly work in some places where I live.
I really need to be on Verizon.
Even think.
With all the trees. I still have some problems.

Thanks for letting me know about t mobile.

And I use the heck out of a wireless charger.

I agree! Short on battery too, especially for the smaller one. I've had a P2 for two years and battery life was always an issue. I was surprised that it's still such a small battery.

The Pixel 3 was a Pixel 2 reboot, I could see the 4 costing more because it is a whole new design with new options.....I hope they keep the price lower or give a big trade in on my Samsung S10+

Man I'm glad I didnt wait.

Got a note 10 + has a 855+ processor.
8 gb ram memory.
256 storage
SD card.
Nice camera
Plus 3 lens for camera.
4300 ah battery.
Think it's a 45 ah super fast charger.

Its 1099.00
Traded my pixel 3 xl in at Best buy.
Got it for 927.00 tax and all.

So far Bixby is only thing I don't like.
Got about all of it turned off.

What is pixel gonna do with their phone specs.
And Hdw to compete with this.
Oh wait.
I'm sorry.
Pixel gets a update before me.

You won.

When I think about upgrading to the Pixel 4, I have a hard time justifying it. Of course I think the Pixel 4 is going to be a great smartphone, but I have the 3a now. So, I will will be running the same software, my setup of the phone will look the same (wallpaper, apps, widgets). I would get the same screen protector and case because I love them on my current 3a. I would use my phone exactly the same way. As far as the camera, I haven't really had a complaint about a smartphone camera since my Blackberry 8330. I think that I would be fine with any low-end to flagship device at this point. They would all meet my needs.

Hmmmm.

There is no 855+ processor on any Note 10s and 10+ base model starts with 12gb RAM. not sure what you bought because the specs you listed don't exist LOL.

I think you are just too excited. But yes, I did the same. Traded my pixel 3 xl at bestbuy for a white Note 10+. Yep, kick butt phone. Love it.

He might have confused some leaks and Note 10 specs with the actual Note 10+. Still, I’d rather have the Note 10 (not the + because of the size) than the Pixel 4. Honestly speaking I think the whole “But the Pixels get updates faster” argument a bit silly. Over time Samsung will give its flagships 2 years of OS updates and 2.5/3 of security...I can live with the fact that they’ll be updated a couple months behind because the OS is already brilliant.

Some will inevitably say things along the line of “but the 90hz screen/facial recognition/pixel camera” etc. For me my S7 Edge’s camera is highly competent, so if I had a Note 10 the camera setup would be freaking amazing (plus it will be more versatile). Performance and value wise the Note 10 will probably have the edge as well.

At launch here the 3XL was more expensive than the Note 9. Who in their right mind would pay more for less?

Seems history will be repeating itself again.

( and going on the current exchange rate, the prices above look accurate for us here in the UK. In the US you will probably pay considerably less. And get a free Buick or some ****e .)
