Pixel 4 Pricing Leak. OMG Priccccccyyyyyy

Yup in about 2 weeks the madness will start again.

The Note 10/+ pre-order thread was filled with madness because that is what Samsung People do.
Pre-Ordering Pixel People are properly behaved during pre-order time.
Stick around, you'll see.

I've been here for the P2 and P3 and I guess it is a little more toned down.

Well they don't sell enough phones but they do OK in the US compared to some other brands that have let their ships sail.

I think the Pixel phone has its own followers, very loyal followers. I never got involved in a Samsung Pre-order thread before, a journey to remember. Not only did I end up with a Note 10+, I ended up with a Forum Spouse - :)

Judging by the Pics in the Note 10/+ "Photos taken by the Note 10 and 10 plus", those people drink a lot.

Mike, could you put a countdown clock in the header so we can keep track of the P4 launch/pre-order date/time?

He only does the New Years Eve ball countdown

With the iPhone 11 at $699, it would be a mistake for Google to price the starting Pixel 4 model at $799. It'll be seen as smaller and likely with less battery life. And keep in mind, to go from 64GB to the 128GB model with the iPhone 11 is only $50 dollars more. If Google keeps to the same pricing structure as last year, the Pixel 4 128GB would be $899 versus the same storage iPhone 11 at $749. Google won't stand a chance. I understand the Pixel 4 will have plenty of its own advantages, but I just don't see it competing well at those price points.

I hope Google considers a price drop. Can't wait to find out where the prices will land. It's the one thing that hasn't had a solid, reliable leak yet.

While I agree that price might make a difference to some, we are talking two different platforms in your example. Price wouldn't sway me towards IOS. In fact, if the Pixel 4 is what I wanted I don't think that difference is significant enough to sway me towards another Android. Having said all of that, I'm sitting this pre-order out. If I were buying it would be the XL model but I just don't see anything being offered that makes me want run out and buy it.

Nor me. I'd still get a Pixel 4 over any iOS device, but you and I are Android enthusiasts. My concern about Google's pricing is not about us.

Understood, but for the most part I don't think the average person flip flops between IOS and Android unless they are disatisfied, curious or steered. Anyway, the price may have some influence.

Pretty sure the Pixel 4 and 4XL will be compared to the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, just like last year when it was the P3/3XL vs XS/XS Max.
And the pricing will be the same as last year because Apple.

Does anyone have any idea of approximately when the launch event will be??
