Pixel 5 XL?

So I've been thinking about the possible delay of the Pixel 5. I'm wondering if it is delayed into 2021 whether Google will extend updates and support for the Pixel 2, given that the upgrade cycle would be extended. I would frankly be OK with that as my 2XL is running great.
The 4a can't come out fast enough though for my wife and daughter, both of whom are rocking a KeyOne with failing batteries. Those KeyOnes have been absolute workhorses for them though.

That would be great if Google extended support due to the fact that the ensuing iteration was being delayed (if that were to happen).

I've heard good things about KeyONE phones! I miss my BlackBerry Q10!

There are rumors there will be no 5XL. While I wouldn't be getting it anyway I imagine many cell phone enthusiasts would be disappointed.

If they have screen real estate decent enough not too small or large they can release one phone only ...might be a better idea and concentrate one thing

That's a good idea! I usually opt for the smaller version because I enjoy smaller phones and the XL versions are just *too* big... It would be weird not seeing two options avaliable, though!

It doesn't take a lot of concentration to make 2 phones in two screen sizes.

is google stepping away from "premium flagships" Are we perhaps seeing a return to the nexus model?

The Nexus model was to let a different OEM make their phone every year and that led to a lot of inconsistencies.

Nexus gets too much of a praise, they were fine nothing special and I love the Pixels more. I would like them keep making flagship phones since that's what I'm interested in

Nexus was a mixed bag. Not bad phones, just nothing that stood out for me except the 6P.

I too remember the Nexus 6P. Very Pixel-esque. Awesome-looking phone. Never had the chance to try one out though, unfortunately.
