Yeah, the way I always look at it, I want the App Drawer to be simple and alphabetical. The homescreen is where I do all of my customization.

I liked an option on the Blackberry (yeah, I know - what's that!) where you could change from alpha to date installed. Sometimes I would not remember a name but going through DATES I could find the newish apps.

That's a good point -- especially if you have a ton of apps installed.

You checked under SIM option? Where it resides for me on 3 network. Maybe will pop an EE sim in and see if I have the same issue as you. Would be tomorrow when I pop to Asda, can grab a sim for £1

Got an EE SIM card and this is what I have under SIM options. Doesn't even give me a 5G option and the selector for 4G is greyed out. So I guess it is a network issue and they have blocked the network preference choice. So now I have a spare sim card. Just in case.

I have every thing you mentioned with Nova...Have been using Nova on every Google phone for ever...Bang your head against the wall or pick the simplest and best solution...

It is easier for some here to bang their own head and then whine when it hurts
