What an adventure today. After 2 hours of trying, having my cart emptied multiple times and having to try and order again and seeing "sold out" everything finally went smoothly. Then I text a buddy of mine that I successfully ordered and he manages to order one in like 5 minutes. I felt like I did all the legwork and he just reaped the reward lol.

Unbelievable for the UK , we actually get a pre order bonus. A bit annoying it's the same deal for both the vanilla and the pro . Bose 7000 headphones.

Plus 10% cash back to spend on the Google store with Google one.

I preordered the pixel 6 pro but I didn't see the 10% cash back offer. If it's true it's a great deal paired with the free headphones.

I was able to get the Pixel 6 Pro 128gb after two hours of trying, but I really wanted the 512gb model. I will keep the 128gb on order but will keep trying to get the 512gb. To bad Google could not get launch day right.

Did a pre-order from T-Mobile. They offered a very generous trade-in/promotion of $450 for my white Pixel 4 on a Pixel 6 (Sorta Seafoam). I bought that Pixel 4 from Swappa when my Pixel 2 died. I paid $450 for it then, about 18 months ago. Hopefully it will all go through smoothly. They estimate ship date of 10/28.

I thought about higher storage but I have more than enough available with Google Plan to back up photos that in the end the price I would pay for higher storage kind of pans out over the years in the low costs associated with a monthly plan for Google's cloud storage.

I had been spamming against the broken checkout on Google's site for 90 minutes to secure a cloudy white 256GB 6 Pro and then saw a post where delivery dates were already sliding to late November, early December, so went ahead and ordered it on Amazon in Black (only color remaining, and giving up the free buds and the reasonable $230 trade-in on my S20 FE with a broken screen), which didn't show a delivery date.

After finishing with some errands, on a whim, a little after 1pm PT, I refreshed the Google site and it would allow me to complete the transaction with a shipping date of November 4-5. I figure Amazon might deliver on October 28, but just as easily might not - and waiting a week to get the color I preferred, and free buds, and resolving the issue of what to do with my broken screen S20 FE, I went ahead and placed the order on Google, cancelling the one on Amazon.

Plus, I trust Google to be easier to deal with on warranty, and Amazon has a bad habit of leaving boxes outside at 10pm...

Not as fast as I might like, but it'll just make the journey and anticipation all the more meaningful while I watch all of you getting it earlier and enjoy your commentary / pictures!

I was finally able to order a white Pixel 6 Pro 128GB with Google Fi. Ordered just a few minutes ago during break, and surprised it went through. I really wanted a 256GB, but beggars can't be choosers I guess, LOL! Delivery Nov 17-18, nearly a Month from now.

Ordered Pixel 6 pro in black. Still worried about the size as i never had bigger phones. Only reason i ordered the pro was for the camera and the telephoto lens. Hope I get used to it. But if the picture quality is the same between 6 and 6 pro i might return it and get the regular pixel 6.

I couldn't checkout. Wanted 256GB so I will have to buy the black. In the UK pre-order comes with Bose 700 wireless headphones. Nice! Will probably wait to get mine regardless.
