Pixel 6a

The FS works great...I do not know what the reviewers were on about , but it is faster than my 6 Pro. Here it is next to a 4A, 5 and the 6A on the right.

Not every device is going to perform the same. Reviewers (most) give an honest opinion based on what they have. We have to look at the larger picture and determine the chance of getting a device that will not perform up to standard.

With that said I'm glad you're happy with your P6a. That's all that really should matter to you.

Damn 6.1 is too small for my liking. I thought at least same size as 5a 5g or 4a 5g. And still at 60HZ refresh. At $449 I'd rather get a pixel 6. Bigger screen and 90Hz refresh.

As the Hulk would say, "Puny Phone!!" lol.

So glad to hear that the fingerprint sensor works well! You know, I'm *so tempted* to get the 6A, but I really want to wait for the 7... Ugh.

And where will you find a Pixel 6 for $449?

Anyone think the Pixel 6a will be worth getting over say the 5a 5G? I hope it doesn't share the bezels on the regular Pixel 6.
I've got a Pixel 5A 5G and I would not swap it for a Pixel 6A. The battery life on the 5A is outstanding. The cameras are identical in both Pixels, though the 6A has the tensor processor, which should be faster when processing photos, though I doubt anyone would be able to tell the difference in the real world.

These two things, battery life and camera quality, are my main criteria when selecting a cell phone. With the superior battery life the 5A beats the 6A for me.

The 5A has the tried and true rear fingerprint sensor. 5A has a headphone jack whereas 6A doesn't.

I installed a glass screen protector and the Spigen Liquid Air Armour case on my wife's P6a and proceeded to set it up.
My first impression is I really do like the phone size and the screen is just fine. In fact I really don't see a huge difference between the screen scrolling between my Pixel 6 Pro and her P6a.
The fingerprint sensor works fine and I tried my fingerprints several times and her phone didn't unlock at all. So no worries here.
All in all if something were to happen to my P6P the P6a would be my replacement of choice. Of course I would miss the telephoto lens but I could live without it until the P7 series is released and I feel P6P is worth buying.

Great news! I just received confirmation from Google that my Pixel 4a is worth the $300 credit towards the purchase of the Pixel 6a I bought for my wife.

I also traded in a 4a for $300. Just sent it yesterday though. Hopefully I'll be getting the same email soon enough.

I received the email that my trade-in kit has been shipped on the 28th and when I received the kit I sent the phone in the next day. Today is when I got the email that it's been accepted for the trade in. So it takes a while.

I bought a used 3a for $89 and will get $300 to trade it in for the 6a plus 0% interest for two years and then after that hopefully it will have good trade in value for another Pixel. It's my first Pixel so I'm looking forward to it. I got the S22 ultra in July for basically nothing after bill credits so I think that will be a nice combo.

Sent from my SM-S908U using AC Forums mobile app
