Pixel 7 Android getting a minute by minute countdown Notication to a Calendar Event

I have an event on my Calendar app starting at noon. I also use the Business Calendar app. I am getting a minute countdown notification every minute to the event. On the Business Calendar app settings, the Ongoing Notification reminder is set to 2 hours, so I should receive a notification 2 hours before the noon event. However, I am getting a notification every minute counting down. This is annoying. What is the fix, and why is this happening?

That is the way it is supposed to work? So if you set the Ongoing notifications to 4 hours before an event, you will get 240 notifications sent to your phone.

Can you confirm which app is sending you those notifications? Is it Google Calendar or Business Calendar?

Is coming from the application Business calendar. On the web found some documentation that says it counts down by a minute. That seems crazy for me. If you say 3 hours before the event, you're going to get a lot of notifications popping up on your phone does not make any sense.
