Okay, guys, it's officially January -- which means that hopefully before Fall, we'll hear about the next iteration of Pixel devices. I don't know about you, but I am so looking forward to this, as I have been with each new Pixel release since the 2 line.

Has there been any news? Is it too early to tell? What would you like to see in the Pixel 7 line (and I hope there *is* a 'line', because I need a smaller phone!)?

There maybe a possibility of a Pixel 6a coming to India in March. So perhaps that will be a phone coming to the rest of the world later. Could be the smaller phone for you.

Even though I am most likely toting around my last Pixel; maybe Google should worry about getting the software right on the 6 series before working on the 7. Just a suggestion. And even though not everyone is having problems; or at least stating that fact, Google is admitting it has problems with downloads and that affects a lot of people; maybe not all.
I may not have a 6; however, I sure wanted one, since I do prefer the pixel UI; however, I have no desire to test one where I live. But it is NOT totally ruled out. If the Jan update fixes the connection problems, and all looks ok from user reviews in Feb; might just order one to test where I live. Making sure to return if it is not good at connection or other functions I use.
If not...a White S22U is on the table.

Hopefully at least one option that is less than 6" kind of like the Pixel 5. My wife wants to replace her Pixel 5 this Fall and likes the smaller form factor. And keep the pricing lower, like the Pixel 6 line.

True. However, I would wonder if google would improve if they do release. Then again, google seems to release new items before they are ready for release.

That small little hole does not bother me any more than the large area that was cutout on the 4XL.

If it happens it happens. I just posted the info.

I'm a person who may have used his selfie camera once or twice on my 4XL in two years. One of those times was out of curiosity to get a close look at my chin, to remove a piece of glass with some accuracy since I did not have a mirror handy. It worked pretty good.

I agree that lots of what we're reading and will read will be speculation. But it's fun to speculate!

I've been doing more of that over on the S22 area, lately.
