Ha good old carrier crap, I'm glad I'm not dependent on making my buying decisions on carrier availability.

I do understand why people buy from them though.

I heard on a tech podcast the reason ATT is not carrying the device was because Google couldn't put the necessary MMwave antenna in the device to support ATT MMwave bands. Is this true?

Hopefully it will not be a problem. I ordered the unlocked version of the Pixel 9 Fold. I just did a chat with an ATT rep and this is what he said: "should be able to use it"
