Pixel as a Phone

Well, I lost my 6P and ordered a 32GB Pixel XL.

Any input on the Pixel XL's phone features?
Not carrier related issues with signal strength and dropped calls.
Not Google apps issues such as Phone or Messenger.

Hardware related like how's the call volume and battery life for phone calls.
The 6P was the only phone I've had with decent call volume for hearing impaired

Call volume is loud enough and battery life is great.
