Pixel Fold Android 14

Well, @Bkdodger1 suggested something Google's Tech support did not. Google wanted me to Factory Reset the phone and restore and HOPE that I would then be offered Android 14. I was really reluctant to go through the entire restoration process.

What @bkdodger2 (aka bkdoger 1 ) suggested was to install the BETA. That worked. And I think it took less time than just ordinary system updates. So, I now have Android 14 even if it is beta

Android 14 QPR1 Beta 2.2 (November 2023)

This minor update to Android 14 QPR1 Beta 2 includes the following fixes:

Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented devices from receiving calls. (Issue #298747690)
Fixed an issue where tapping or long-pressing a Quick Settings tile sometimes failed to launch the corresponding app or settings menu. (Issue #302147272)
Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the Settings app to crash when checking for system software updates. (Issue #303739210)
Fixed an issue that prevented Device Mirroring from working correctly with Pixel Fold devices. (Issue #302003079)

All eligible devices enrolled in the Android Beta for Pixel program will be offered an over-the-air (OTA) update to Beta 2.2.

Just looking at my pixel 8 pro and Fold on Android 14 no beta it has the toggle also , I have to find the article I read maybe they meant to remove at a glance on pixel launcher and use one of its other widget, thanks though.

I switched to the Pixel launcher to find the setting...let me check my P8P

Couple of things from this quarterly

Battery standby has been excellent today. I took it off the charger at 7 am and it's now 5:39 pm and I have 85%. I haven't used it much as I have been in AWS class all day but with about 45 minutes of use. Still I don't think it's bad. Oh and that 45 minutes has been all inside screen.

Excellent I'm happy with mine ...I have my SIM in my P8P but will be swapping by the weekend
