Anyone interested in the rumored Pixel Fold over the 6? I don't think I'm quite in the foldable phone camp yet.

I belive they using Samsung technology, im curious for sure , love all tech .

Google has the Billion$ to launch any device with basically no impact on bottom line. When is the last time they had a real winner device Nexus?

It looks pretty cool but, like you, I'm not ready to jump into the fold, so to speak. 🤣

I didn't know Google was making a folding phone.... so it's based on the Samsung Fold? I was hoping someone would come out with a rollable screen phone like LG showed off before they "folded", pardon the pun ;)

I love puns! Nicely done, even though LG's folding was sad!

I didn't know anything about it either until I read about it here and suddenly came upon a Pixel Fold rumours page, either here or on Google News/Feed.

Not really interested in a foldable that goes from a ~ 6" slab to unfold to a tablet. Now if they were do do something like the z-flip, allowing one to take a large phone and fold it to easily fit in a shirt pocket (and protect the screen), I'd be very interested.

It'll be 6 / 6 Pro (more likely the latter) this year for me.

I have zero interest in a foldable phone. A phone that is double the thickness is not welcome in my pocket.

That's true about pocketable-ness (or lack thereof) and portability. Whatever phone I get has to be able to fit in my purse pockets!

I have no interest in what would perhaps be better called an UNfoldable phone like the Z-fold and purported Pixel Fold (as opposed to foldable or non-foldable), i.e. one that unfolds into a larger form factor/tablet, but am interested in watching the evolution of foldable phones which go from a traditional phone form factor to something smaller, like the Z-Flip. Right now these are actually more than twice the thickness, but as they iterate on the hinge that should diminish, and (to me) having the ability to make the phone more readily pocketable in terms of length and more protective of the display would be worth some increase in thickness.
