pixel xl... daydream is too good to resist.. QHD display
... 4k videos
...someone just give me a Pixel already

qHD is a complete waste on a 5" screen... It could even be debated as to it's worthiness on a 5.5" screen. Think about it for a second. Most people do not have 4K TV's and even those who do, 4K content is limited.. We view 1080p happily on a 60" TV but get upset when a 5" screen is 1080p?
Now VR wise maybe 4K is better. I don't know and can't really say until I try VR out on the 1080p 5" Pixel..
I agree. Especially with that battery. It would just suck the life out of this phone. Yeah, obviously, it would look sharper. But unless you are putting them side by side or something, you'd be hard pressed to really notice much of a benefit to it. The resolution is perfectly fine for a 5 inch phone. QHD, while better, is complete overkill and not necessary. And add to the fact that both phones have exactly the same processer, Pixel is going to be better performance wise.
So - considering my options now. Have used larger phones for the past couple of years now, but am seriously considering the switch back to something in the 5" or less range.
If you had your choice, what would you go with? The Pixel or Pixel XL?
So who else is excited about the new Google phones. I am stoked for them but they are a bit pricey.
I'm staying with my current 64 GB Nexus 6P for the time being, but if I had to choose, I would have to go for the XL. I've gotten so use to the size of bigger phones, I'd feel like a giant holding a smaller phone! It's nice both Pixel models start at the sweet spot of 32GB and the bump-up to 128GB is a nice bonus, and with most of the same specs on both variations. 32 GB in Quite Black would suit me.![]()

Better get the 128gb, 32gb won't be enough
