Pixel Phone started ringing, and ringing, and ringing. No way to hang up, no record of any call in the phone app.

I had to restart the phone to stop the ringing, and never did see what caused this.

Strange, I've never experienced that before. Was it the same ringtone you hear when you get a call, or something else? Could it have been an alarm? Or possibly an NFC notification tone? You can test the NFC theory by turning off NFC, or removing anything from the back of the phone that might have an NFC chip (like a credit card or other kinds of ID cards).

Just the normal ringing of the Pixel, nothing unusual.

Have no idea how this happened. It was very annoying because I was on the my Land Line on an important call, and the Pixel kept ringing, ringing, ringing, could not hang it up, could not see who was calling. It was a phantom ringing.

If it happens again, swipe down the notification panel to see if anything shows up there.

Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you, but I can tell you that there are multiple threads on Reddit that would seem to suggest that you are far from alone in experiencing this issue.

This happened to me the other day on my 9 Pro XL but only when I connected to a Bluetooth speaker, a speaker I use daily. I'd disconnect the speaker and it'd stop, reconnect and it would ring through the speaker again. First time that's happened and so far it hasn't happened again. A reboot was all that fixed it ... Unpairing and repairing the speaker didn't even help. Chalked it up as a one-off oddity, but it looks like it may not be
