Just got my Pixel 3 and the one thing that I was concerned about was how all the pictures are store in Google Photos. Coming from other Android devices where pictures are either stored locally or on an SD card, getting use to having it in Google photos was going to take some learning.

With that said, please correct me if I am wrong, but for apps like Instagram and Facebook, if I want to share/post a picture, clicking on Add pictures in the app does not allow me to see the pictures in Google Photo. Is the correct way to then go into Google Photos and click the Share button, then the app that I want to share it to? Lots of extra steps to do i think.

What other tips and how tos should I become aware of with pictures always in Google Photos now?

Thank you for your advice.

In addition, I guess if I want to share multiple pictures on Instagram, I have to go to Google Photos and download them, then I will be able to share them?

Is there no other photo app for the pixel?

Photo app is pretty easy to use. Long press on the picture you want. If there are multiple, then after you long press you can just tap the other pictures. Click the share button on the bottom left "<", select the app to share with.

The Google Photos app is all you will need, i thought like you when i first got my Pixel too.
