Got mine Monday evening in Dayton, Ohio. Verizon Pixel. All is well.

I am on the Verizon network with a Google Play bought Pixel XL 128...

I just checked the WiFi call and it switched on for me without issue.... I also placed a call with it enabled and had no issues with the call...

I finally figured it out. I had disabled the Verizon Login app. Re-enabled the app, rebooted the phone, and was able to re-enable WiFi calling.

I strongly suggest people learn how to sideload updates. You'll never have to wait again. It's not that complicated. If you're going to buy a google device, learning how to flash and sideload will really enhance your experience with current Pixel and all devices from google.

Ehh -- Most just may not want to mess with it. I know I could if I wanted but I am lazy and just wait for the OTA. I don't mind getting it 2, 3, or 4 days after release. That is absolutely nothing compared to a carrier device that can take months to get an update. Hell... I even said to my forum team the other day when it popped up "YAY! The lazy way!" since some of them went through the sideload .

I sideloaded the Canadian leaked version a few weeks ago. I just got another 41.8 MB update, installing now.

I got a notification this afternoon saying the update was available. I couldn't take care of it at the moment. Since then the notification disappeared and when I go to check for updates it says I'm up to date but still on Nov 5 security update. I will have to check again later, maybe do a quick reboot.
