Pixel/Pixel XL --- Show us your photos!

Here are a few random pics from my first day.

One is a well lit outdoor shot (restaurant) in which the Pixel actually made the scene even better looking with it's HDR work in terms of color saturation and appearance. I prefer that look quite a lot.

One is an indoor macro-ish shot (of the T-rex) and I was impressed with the color balance based on the various types of lighting that were going on in that location.

One is an outdoor macro simply to see how the bokeh and colors looked in the background and I am very satisfied.

One is an indoor room that had a less-than-ideal amount of ambient light coming in from a window (stormtrooper helmet and armor crate) and I am amazed at how great this looks based on the actual scene.

And, finally, an obligatory puppy pic where the lighting is just barely acceptable to me from a photographic point of view but in which the Pixel caught a great looking shot of a very active pup.

Needless to say, I'm extremely satisfied so far with the camera's capability and it's speed. A little more time with it and I'll know exactly how far I can go with it but I'm delighted to know that the limits have been greatly stretched for me with this device.

I took this one the other day wandering around, was tricky lighting but I think it came out pretty nice.

Haven't really taken too many pics. The pictures look pretty good. I do Have the lens flare issue if the lighting is a little off. So far I think the quality if pretty solid though.

So, here is a night shot with an outside light on. First one is from my Galaxy S6 a few days prior to the Pixel, and the second is with the Pixel. I was very happy with the S6 camera, but I think I like the Pixel even more. I thought it was an interesting comparison of poor lighting, and the difference in processing seems apparent. The texture on the tree seems to have more detail with the Pixel shot.
