Pixel screen not sleeping

I have recently had an intermittent issue where I put my Pixel down, look at it a few minutes later and the screen is still on. Seems to happen when I've been using the Chrome browser. I can turn the screen off with the power button but it doesn't turn itself off. A reboot sorts it for a while but the issue seems to return. Anybody else having this problem? Any ideas for a solution?

Get a display tester app and see if you are getting phantom touches.

Thanks. Initial results with that seem to indicate that the screen is not faulty

Same thing happens to me occasionally. Only re-booting solves it. I'm thinking some app is just malfunctioning and refuses to let the screen sleep.

I agree - just wish I could identify the rogue app! At least it is only occasional.
