I've retired my old laptop -- I can't unsee the screen of the Pixel, and I never wanna go back.

I can't be the only one, so let's build a thread of helpful advice for us users!

I'll start with the best Skype app I could find:
imo Messenger

It handles chat, calls and file transfers. Works good enough, even if it's not got every single feature the stand-alone Skype for Linux does.

Thanks for that, Jerry!

For simple photo editing I use PicMonkey. Pretty easy to use, works with your files right in Drive and integrates with the file viewer.

What do you use for printing docs, pdfs, and gmail? Can I connect a printer through the usb port? Wifi printing like I do with my laptop? Cloud Print like I do with my S3 and tablet?

Sent from my GT-P6210 using Android Central Forums

You'll use cloud printing like with your S3 and tablet. Works very well with any Chrome OS device.

My wife does chart reviews for a local law firm. They usually send her the chart on a disc as in pdf format. Any solutions or ideas since Chromebooks do not come with a disc drive.

Jerry,

Are you still using the Pixel?

John

Has anyone found a good Exchange e-mail app? I'm trying out CloudMagic which seems to be alright. It's a bare bones so I'd like to find something with a few more features.

Have you tried Outlook? I don't have Exchange email anymore, so I haven't tried it, but it seems like that should be a natural choice...I also used AquaMail when I had Exchange mail, and it was okay. I wasn't crazy about any of the options at the time I was using them.
