Pixel XL - No September Security Update - What's UP?

Finally! Wife's 5" Pixel had it since early Sept. Wonder what the hold up was.

Yeah thats weird that some just now getting the update. Also some still waiting .

I got my updates(OTA) for both the Og Pixel ( sailfish ) and the Pixel 2 XL Sept 10 .

I did not remove the SIM card (card trick thing)

I just got it as well

Just got my update overnight last night. Clearly it was a problem at the back end since lots of us are now getting the update. Now at the Sep5'th update (on Sep 28'th).
I had logged a call with Google and after sending them debug files and troubleshooting, they wanted me to reset my phone. I told them no. Good thing I waited.

The update was there on the 5th if you want to do it manually (I think I've done one OTA since I got my P2, all the others were done by just reflashing the full ROM and not wiping user data (the -w in the last fastboot line in the .bat or .sh file - just delete the -w). They're always at Google | Factory Images for Nexus and Pixel Devices (Scroll way down)

I was one of the ones that got the September update late and now today I just got the October update. I guess last month was just a fluke.

Just received the October update on my Pixel XL and my Pixel 2 XL. Both on Project Fi.
