Help! This is the first time something goes wrong with my Note, and it's not pretty :( I like to think I take great care of my phone, nothing has ever happened to it.

Attached are a couple of pictures. Not sure what happened, and as you can see there's a case on it (which rarely gets removed). I don't know if I should completely take it off or try to glue it back on, but I'm not the handiest man out there, so I'm worried I'd ruin it.

Any suggestions welcome. I'm heart broken :'(

A tiny spot of superglue on the end of a toothpick placed on the part where the plastic has snapped might work? Worth a go and a lot cheaper and less scary than dismantling the phone.

I don't recommend using super glue. There is mug warranty. Use it. Get replacement. If you use something like superglue and makes it worse they won't cover the warranty

Is all your casual table ware covered by Samsung's warranty.
How cool is that!
I'll be buying another Samsung.

I hope the manufacturer's warranty covers it, I'll contact them soon.

That got a smack against something hard! ... and at just the wrong angle. Is that a case from a well known brand?
Good luck with the warranty, I think they should cover it.

I did call Samsung and as expected, they said I can send it in and although physical damage isn't covered by the warranty, they can assess the damage and let me know if it will cost me anything. DANG IT.

If it's just the case broken, just replace it! Gluing stuff never seems to work for me.
The mfg might replace it if you contact them!

The plastic that's broken is the plastic silver band around the phone, nothing to do with the case really.

I hope they decide to repair it cheaply for you, as you took great care and it's a vulnerable spot on many good cases. I would decline a high repair charge and ask for it back, to see what they do. Say you'll buy a HTC or something. Or pay and report the cost to Caseology.

OMG, I'm getting scared of taking off my case just looking at that 😓

You're not going to risk a high charge from Samsung to get it back if you send it then. Real shame you're stuck with it.
Caseology should know about it.
