play mp3 on phone through wifi

been trying to figure this out for months, and I know it cant be to hard, I can watch videos, and look at photos on my pc (windows 7) however I can not seem to play any mp3's from my pc. when I ha dan appl product it was easy. I know there are paid apps to sync to itunes, I dont really want to sync to itunes, is there any way I can play mp3 on my phone from my pc without installing secondary software on my pc?

I don't have a direct answer for you, but why not upload your entire music library to Google Music? If you're at home and have a wifi connection, then just turn on wifi, fire up your Google Play Music app, and enjoy streaming your entire music library.
