Play music de-authorization limit is there a fix?

So I followed this article from CNET A one-time fix for Google Play Music's device-deauthorization limit - CNET Seemed to work for everyone but I guess Google has not got pissed off with this as they told me where to go basically. I phoned up, they asked why I had so many devices registered, I explained that flashing a new ROM etc shows as a new device, they went over explaining why they had the device limit etc etc and that was that.

Is there any other fix for this? If not I will be leaving Android.

Can you not just go in and de-authorize all the other past spoofs from your flashing?

Nope didn't work, said about de-authorising 4 devices which I did, still wouldn't let me authorise any more

Do you have all your music uploaded to Google Music or are you just subscribed?
