Just dropped my S7 edge off at Best Buy under the return period after receiving an unlocked HTC 10 a few days ago. That was a disappointing phone simply because it was so fragile (the only phone I've ever had where the entire display was riddles in scratches and scuffs within days.) *Really* glad to be back with HTC (the M7 and M8 were two of my favorite devices to use) but having a couple of issues.

Firstly, some updates do not show up under My Apps & Games within the Play Store. I have to search "HTC" in the Play Store to update HTC Apps manually.

Secondly, when playing videos in Chrome via HTC's video player, the only way to fast forward is to drag the slider. If I tap the slider in a different position, the video will cease to play unless I reload the page I'm on. Anyone else have that issue?

Thanks!

This used to happen all the time with any preinstalled app, whether it was from Google, the manufacturer, or the carrier. I think it's gotten better recently, but I wouldn't be surprised if some apps still didn't show up. Once you've updated it the first time, it should then show up in the future whenever another update is available.

Interesting, and good to know. Thanks!
