For instance, scroll capture. Is that an Android thing or a Samsung feature?
the general public who has to return a defective samsung device wont choose another samsung device. i even dumped my s7 edge
The only real difference between this and nexus is the name. Hauwei didn't want the 6p to be 1440p. That was a Google call. Google designed the last nexus line but let the manufacturer use it as a selling point. They got hauwei a lot of recognition in the US as a result. Pixel is Google's move into mainstream OEM territory. It's still a reference device. But it's basically their answer to ****ty skins. They've been pretty hard on how crappy TouchWiz is and how it's making Android look bad. This is google saying, hey guys...this is how you skin Android without ruining the user experience.
Based on your experience sure -- but you were saying it as if it is just a fact and others aren't as reliable.
Haha. Was the most reliable and high quality. I doubt anyone believes that any more after the fiasco they were sent through including myself. There is no reason to dump Samsung over this. Even with the battery fiasco, they're still the most reliable, highest quality Android phones.
Touchwiz is pretty good these days. There is a reason Samsung phones are number one in sales and in reviews.
Well, I can assure you Samsung is much more reliable than LG. I know former Verizon workers that will never buy an LG phone because of all the returns, me being one of the people that has had to return an LG phone.
I'm here looking at the Pixel info as a n7 owner who needs to return my device. I am having a hard time distinguishing some of the features as Android or Samsung... For instance, scroll capture. Is that an Android thing or a Samsung feature?
I want my s-pen! I heard the n5 is now discontinued, and I am not willing to give up my upgrade for an s7.
Also, I just read an article stating that the Pixel won't work on sprint... Is this true? And it apparently can't be purchased with an upgrade? I've been Samsung for a long time and never interested in anything else, so I'm sorry for all the dumb questions. Lol![]()

There's no technological reason it wouldn't work on Sprint - as Richard Servello pointed out, Sprint's network is contracted for use on Fi, which the Pixels obviously work on. The only reason it wouldn't work with a Sprint SIM (that I can think of) would be if Sprint were requiring handsets to be whitelisted by IMEI (iirc, there was an issue with that on the N6 or N6p with either Sprint or Verizon for a bit).
Dang.... That stinks.Off topic, but when I was at Best Buy yesterday to return my Note 7 there were many others doing the same thing. I was there three hours because of it and everyone I saw (at least 7 people) got iPhones. Not a huge sample, but still.
I'm really curious about the looks tbh.. Is it really an attractive phone in real life.. Is it striking? Just want to get that detail of the way
I know sverige complains about the bezels, but when I was hosing it, they just didn't bother me at all. It looks nice to me.
I don't so much mind the bezels, but am just confused as to why there's so much space at the top and bottom. At least with the N6 and N6p you had front-firing stereo speakers to help justify the length... Perhaps it's to accommodate the battery?

I think some of the reason for the huge bottom bezel is so that the phone remains symmetrical. MKBHD remarked as much in his hands-on video.
I also saw an image somewhere, on G+ I believe, that demonstrates the Pixel's bezels are smaller proportionally than the 6P's bezels.
I'm gonna have to stick with Samsung... So many features I am accustomed to...Samsung feature. I like it too.
