Playing/Converting .3g2 Video

I've transferred some older videos that are in the .3g2 format. Astro file manager recognizes them as "audio" files. But I discovered I can get them to play if I open them as "video"...but I don't get any sound. I have tried a couple of video converters to to convert them to mp4 format. They do show up as videos but I get an error that says "unable to play video".

Anyone have any suggestions or methods to get them to play?
