Playing DVDs on Asus C302ca

Can I use an external DVD player with a USB A-USB C adapter and watch movies. I have hundreds of DVDs. I haven't owned a television in 20 years so a TV and DVD player isn't an option.

While you can get the Chromebook to recognize the drive, unfortunately it won't be able to play DVD files as you would on a Windows or Mac PC/laptop.

You'd have to convert the DVDs to something a mobile device can play, like MP4 files.
