This topic got me thinking of other "real life scenarios that might not be worked out right.

Let's say I have multiple units throughout the house and I want to listen to some music, but I don't want to play that music on all the units, just the one near me. Will I have this option?

Yes. Chromecast Audio already does this - you can have multiple Ccast Audio devices around your house, and you can specify which ones you want to play through. It's just a question of the exact implementation & voice phrasing they'll implement so you don't have to use a phone to specify which ones. My guess is you'll give each room or set of rooms a name, so you could say "play (song) in Bobby's room" (which would play in one specific location), or something like "play (song) upstairs" which would play through several devices you've assigned as being "upstairs".

In addition, it might just start playing on the closest device the hears and responds to you if you just tell it play a song without giving it a device or group name.
