Playing Scrabble on N7 with Kindle Fire?

My sister in the Midwest has the game Scrabble (by Hasbro Gaming) on her Kindle Fire and wants me to install it also so we can play it together and I'm in Calif.

1. Is that possible, since we use different kinds of tablet systems - mine is Android and hers is ??? (whatever Kindle uses?).

2. Should or can I d/l Amazon's paid version onto my Nexus 7 or can I just use the Play Stores' free Android version which seems to be manufactured by Hasbro also.
3. If it is possible, how would we play back and forth - via email or tablet to tablet somehow?

Both she and I are somewhat tech-challenged, so I'm having trouble grasping the concept of how or even if we can do this. She does play with other relatives in other cities but they also have Kindles.

The Kindle Fire is also Android based, though a fork of it. I'm unaware of any reason this wouldn't work. I'd first try it with the free version from the Play Store, but if that doesn't work the Amazon one from their App Store should work.

Thanks NIT. But how would we send words to each other, once I did d/l either version? Does the game itself give you an option to send it to another tablet or what?
Oh, I also noticed that a lot of people's comments on the Play Store version are negative, saying it crashes a lot etc. :( Would Amazon's be any more stable?

Amazon's Scrabble is a version for Kindle Fires only. I found that out when I got my Nexus 7 to upgrade from my Fire 1st Gen., so you'll have to get it from the Play store.

Same here. Disappointing as Scrabble is my favorite game on the Fire (I only play against the machine, not on-line).

I got it from the Play Store, but how do I connect/play it with someone out of state who has a Kindle Fire and their version of Scrabble? Is it possible to do? :-\
