Playstore opens Youtube videos in landscape but then...

I find this annoying behavior with Playstore. Whenever I click on the video preview of an app, it goes directly to play the YouTube video in landscape mode. But then after viewing on landscape mode, it returns to the Playstore page on landscape mode- but now it won't switch back to portrait mode when I rotate back 90 degrees. It is fixed by rotating the screen 180 degrees first (turn the landscape view upside down), then back to portrait. Only then the screen goes to portrait mode.
Anyone else experience this?

Yes, I see that too. Doesn't happen on my Nexus 5, though. Send them feedback through the Play Store app. I'll do the same.
