Please help a Newbie Smartphone user on Motorola Droid Bionic

My two day old new Driod Bionic cannot connect to the internet and cannot access WIFI. Please help me troubleshoot. I changed the network mode to CDMA only, as we are on a 3G network only. I have all the bars on, but cannot access internet. Does this mean a defective device. Help!:'(

You need to return it. Its a known issue with this phone. I sell Verizon phones so don't let them talk you in to a new one. Get the rezound or razr or just wait for the new LG phone announced today at ces. It's do out the 19th of January.

thanks for the heads up. I may really have to return this as nos I have issues with the call volume, can't hardly hear the person on the other end of the line... it is so frustrating.
