Please Help evo 3d bricked

I rooted my phone 1.50 hboot and i was running freEVO 3d ROM and i was going to switch to MIUI and i used MIU GUI to flash the kernel i guess then i rebooted it and then my phone turned off and it would not turned back on so i pulled the battery and turned it back on and it would load to a screen that just said android and freeze there so i pull the battery again and get into hboot with (vol. down and power) and i went into fastboot and boot laoder and it would do a sd scan and what it scans it just says no image so i try i reboot bootloader and screen just goes off and back on the same screen after that i tried recovry and nothing then factory reset and nothing could you help me with this??? is there i solution to this problem??? I apprectite any help...

if you can get into the bootloader this is what you need to do,
boot to bootloader and enter fastboot usb and in your command prompt type fastboot lock, this will relock the boot loader

next down load this RUU , rename it PG86IMG.zip place it on your sdcard
reboot into bootloader and it will scan the sdcard and find the zip you just put on there
it will read and ask if you want to install update vol.up for yes
what this is doing is putting you back to stock so you will need to unlock and start over again

Relax guy lol you didn't brick your phone. Not even close. He just gave you exactly what you need and how to fix it. Gotta do them nandroid backups. Do as he said this will fix you. In the off the wall chance you changed a splash screen or something make sure you delete or rename that zip. You can only have one of those on the sd card file. But like he said download a new stock and place on sd card. When you hboot it will ask for update and agree accept whatever and start over. Also alot of the zips you will download will say something similar but maybe not exact you may have to rename file. Such as PG86IMG-2.17.651.5.zip or similar. You have to rename file to exactly how he just said caps and all. Next time do backup. I freaked just like you my first time couple years ago when I did it. Odds are you learned good lesson and gained info really important useful to know. LOL funny i know exactly how i felt when i did it to my evo4g couple years ago. My gf naggin me i told you you was gonna mess your phone up haha me mad as mofo. Worse was i had not internet til next day to try figure a fix. No sweat guy you did not mess up or harm your phone in any way at all. If have problems with this just try and relax and ask for more help or better directions. Oh yeah pssssst if the guy helped ya tell him thanks. He told ya right.

Hello, i am having sort of the same problem as the tread author. I got my husband an evo 3d and unlocked and rooted it. (it has the 1.5 hboot). He tried to flash a rom to it using a program he got off of the android market. He picked the rom he wanted, flashed it and restarted the phone and now it is stuck at the bootloader. None of the bootloader functions work except "reboot" and "power down". I tried what you had suggested. I was able to relock and get the ruu you said to download onto the sd card but when i restart the phone nothing happens. It does run through the zip file but says no image. I also tried to execute the ruu via CMD but was given the message "cannot load recovery". Any input you have in to what might fix my problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

pull your sdcard out and start the phone without in the phone. if that doesnt work here is a link to a different RUU that i do know works for sure, its the one i use you will need to put it on your sdcard with a sdcard reader for your pc, what a RUU does is put your phone back to stock just like it was when it was shipped that is why you dont have recovery anymore,

I am having the same problem...I cannot find the RUU that you're referencing. Can you send me a copy or upload it? Is it on this page ? I can't seem to find it. Thanks!

sorry can i ask something.i had the same problem.im using HTC EVO 3D GSM.i want to ask how to fix my phone, after i unlock that phone from htcdev i immediately flash a rom with s-off my phone and without do any backup with nandroid. Now my phone just keep restart when it went to animation of that rom. I try to reset but nothing happened. last question is, is it my phone already brick? because i still can go to bootloader and my recovery 4ext..please help me.:'(

are you sure your s-off ? htcdev does not give you s-off it only unlocks the bootloader so you can install a custom recovery and flash zip files, if your still s-on you will need to flash the boot.img. im only going off we had to do on the 3d cdma and not the gsm as i dont have one

That is the stock recovery. You need to install a custom recovery like twrp, cwm, or 4EXT which is what i recommend. Then reflash a rom .
