please help me install cm7 :-(

Hi guys I'm a new member here . I have a nexus s and I want to install cm7 on my phone but I'm a total rookie! I tried getting help from various websites and forums more specialized in this topic but no one is being responsive :-( -If by some miracle you guys want to help me out lol please try to answer some of these questions : -do I need to install new bootloader? Or just unlock it? Which version of cm7 should I get? (there's stable,experimental,and nightly) How do I flash a new kernel? Do I lose my applist in the market and my purchases? Please guys try to help me out I read on here that nexus s+cm7+trinity kernel is a good combo! Any insights to the process is very appreciated Thank u in advance!

That's correct. The 2.3.4-based builds are still nightlies and considered unstable.
