Hey there, It's my first post on the Android Central Forums. I have Samsung Galaxy III Neo ( S3 ) . I am using Clean Master software, So When i charge for like 10 hours. The maximum battery clean master charges for me is 30%. and it doesn't charge for higher number. I tried to change my battery clean master from "Regular ( Charges battery regular if the battery is below 80% )" To " Continous ( Charges the battery until 100% ) " But I tried to click on the continous but it didn't change. can anyone help me pls? my battery maximum charges to 30% and not 100%.

Do yourself a favor and get rid of CleanMaster... it doesn't do much good for anything it's supposed to do. It's the general consensus of the app here on AC.

How old is your battery? Is it the original that came with the phone? How low do you normally let your battery discharge before charging it again? Phone batteries should never take 10 hours to charge.

I would agree the battery may be bad. Try a different one and see if that works.

My note 4 was using and wearing out batteries to the point I was swapping up to 6 batteries each day over thanksgiving holiday. Finally I found a couple of articles blaming cleanmaster and task killers, battery savers, security apps for abusing battery life, running the phone super hot and datahogging from Google playstore. So I deleted all these utility apps and cured this phone of thermal runaway, battery drain and data hogging. I can only presume that the cleanmaster app was hijacking my phone and was downloading multiple cheetah mobile apps and generating fake positive reviews making revenue for them while hurting my batteries and phone, costing me real money buying extra batteries and time.
