im having a hard time using photoshop. im trying to make a wallpaper for my evo and im not sure how to crop my pic for a evo wallpaper. PLEASE HELP! its asking height width and resolution.

Plug in the native dims and the more res the better ;-)

What are the native size of the evo walls? Try and google that, or import an original wall to photo shop.

What you want to do is to set your images to 960x800, then open it up in your gallery (or long-press on it). Hit menu, and choose "Set as" and select "Wallpaper." If it asks you to crop the image, just set it to the max size of the image.

The extra space in the image is used for swiping across the home screen.
