I see the thread has come alive again.

Since last June when this thread was very active, I gave my wife an S5 phone for Christmas.

Her "Average Use" is "Receive Calls Only, leave it alone until then".

Her S5 is using about 3 or 4 percent battery per day. I just looked at it yesterday evening and it was at 81% and the last charge was on Saturday the 3rd... so 4 days in that cycle...

I have her phone pretty much shut down, all apps she does not need to receive a call have been turned off or uninstalled.

I installed MacroDroid on it to turn the Internet ON when she uses the phone, and like my S5, MacroDroid turns off the Internet when the phone is idle and sleeping.

I get 3 to 4 days use per charge if I am home and using the desktop because MacroDroid shuts my phone down also. It is a penchant of mine to shut out the "Outside World" unless I wish to invite it in.

Here are a couple of screen shots taken at various times... not today.

For heaven's sake AZ, why don't you save hundreds of dollars a year and just buy dumb phones! Think of what you could do with all that money LOL

And to whomever revitalized this thread, before I added ACR (automatic call recorder) I was averaging almost 2 days before my battery got down to like 10-12%. Avg screen time was 3 hours. Getting a little less than that now but I haven't taken a screen shot lately.

It's hard for me to really get an average when my phone is always in my hand. I only got these stats because I was asleep some of the time.
