Pls Help ! How to recover media files deleted from phone internal storage?

Try to use data recovery application eg recuva, testdisk .. to recover my lost whatsapp media files from phone internal storage, but the application totally can't detect my phone, pls help need to recover urgently !! Many thanks in adavance..

Welcome to Android Central! Recovering a deleted file from your internal storage can be very difficult. Programs like Recuva, DiskDigger, or PhotoRec typically need you to root the phone first. Even then, the chance of recovering a deleted file is very low.

Didn't you have backup enabled on whatsapp.
