When you plug your phone in, it comes up as a drive on your PC...mine comes up as Note 4 as that's what I have my phone named. Open it and there should be two drives....one for internal and one for your SD card. In both, look for a folder named DCIM and that's where your photos will be stored.

I think you also have to make sure your phone is unlocked

Just in case anyone is wondering, DCIM = Digital Camera IMages. It's industry standard for the storage folder for digital cameras, including the ones in cellphones.

Hello:

Can someone help me? I am trying to move pictures from my sg note 4 to my laptop, when I connect I have tried under MTP and PTP none of them seem to show me my pictures. I found the different files that the phone has on the computer, even the DCIM folder but nothing comes up, and the few with the few pictures that show under other folders I get an error that says the file is either corrupted or too large to see. Any ideas? I was also trying to install a driver for Samsung on my laptop, but I got o many sites with different options I just don't know which one is legit and won' give me a bunch of spam.
Thanks

I've tried this all evening. When I plug my phone in, it does not come up as a drive on my pc. Any suggestions?

I would have to guess the Samsung device drivers are not installed on the computer
