podcast question

I am new to the android world and on my ios device if I was listening to a video podcast and turned the screen off it would still play. I am using dogcatcher on my G3 and if I turn off the screen or hit the home button the podcast stops. Is it possible to play a video podcast without the screen on?

Try going into the doggcatcher app settings, select advanced, select keep alive, and see if "always" is selected. Maybe that will fix it.
